In 2016 I moved from my home country of Sweden to the US, to further my scientific and personal journey of understanding self-compassion, authenticity, and happiness. During my time in graduate school, I began to see a new vision for my life. A life where I was in charge of my own destiny. A life where I was primarily guided by internal feelings of flow and joy. It led me to candles. The candle business presented itself during a dream one night. I immediately knew I had to follow that path, and it quickly became a passion. The candles are now my way of encouraging others to engage in the daily practice of self-compassion and reflection. To create a space of stillness and self-care. To create a beautiful home where they feel loved.
In the creation process, I often find inspiration from my roots in Sweden as well as my current home Florida. The sleek lines of Scandinavian design with the vibrant hues and fresh, fruity fragrances of the Sunshine State. By incorporating coconut, I aim for a cleaner burn and a velvety-smooth finish.
My vision for this business extends beyond candles. For every candle sold, I am committed to donating $1 to organizations dedicated to combatting human trafficking, both on a global scale and within our local communities.
